COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Two men were killed in a late-night accident on the city's South Side.

The accident occurred at about 10: 55 p.m. Wednesday on Williams Road at Alum Creek Drive.
Raymond Sturgill, 46, was operating a 1993 Chevrolet truck eastbound on Williams Road near Behm Road, a police report said.
For unknown reasons, he drove off the left side of the roadway.
After Sturgill’s vehicle left the roadway, it struck a tree on the passenger side.
Sturgill’s vehicle came to rest on the north side of Williams Road.
Both Sturgill and his passenger, 44-year-old Timothy L. Gillam, were pinned inside the pickup.
Sturgill and his passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said weather and speed might have been a factor in the crash but that wasn't confirmed currently.
The CPD accident investigation squad continued to investigate.
