HAMILTON, Ohio -- A pediatrician released on bond after being charged with sex crimes against young boys has been returned to his medical practice, but a judge says he must have no contact with anyone younger than 16.

Butler County Common Pleas Judge Michael Sage also ruled Wednesday that Dr. Scott Blankenburg and his twin brother will be tried separately. The 53-year-old men are both Cincinnati-area pediatricians charged with sex crimes against youths.

Scott Blankenburg faces 22 charges and posted $50,000 of a $500,000 bond earlier this month to return to his practice.

Mark Blankenburg faces 54 charges, some drug related. He has been unable to post a $1 million bond. A bond reduction hearing was scheduled for Thursday.
