POMEROY, Ohio -- Darlene and Daniel Fisher said their dog, Buster, broke his chain and wandered off Thursday.
Buster, a 2-year-old 150-pound Rottweiler, fell about 40 feet from the top of a hill and was stranded on a cliff for 10 hours.
The Pomeroy Fire Department came to Buster's rescue and rappelled down the hillside to reach the dog.
Rescuers had a bit of trouble because Buster did not want to cooperate.
Daniel was sent down the hillside on the rope line to calm the dog, which allowed Buster to be raised to safety.
