COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Columbus Division of Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened Saturday night in the area of Alum Creek Drive and Frebis Avenue.
Police say 44-year-old Daniel Patterson was walking southbound in the center of the right-hand lane and was struck by an unknown vehicle.
Witnesses described the vehicle as a dark-colored SUV.
Police believe alcohol to be a factor in the crash.
