COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Columbus Division of Police were dispatched to 1660 Maryland Avenue just after 3:30 a.m. on a reported stabbing. When officers arrived, they found a 35-year old male outside of his apartment with several stab wounds to his upper body. The victim was transported to Grant Hospital where he later died from his injuries. Limited information is available at this time, but homicide detectives have apprehended 35-year old Anthony L. Tilley near Brice Road and Borr Avenue and have charged him with murder. This is the 29th homicide of 2009.
