UPPER ARLINGTON -- Beth Siracuse returned to her home in Upper Arlington from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Sunday.
She says other than a health screening just outside the airport in Mexico on her way back to the United States, her trip was uneventful.
Her plane ride from Chicago to Cabo San Lucas only had about 16 people on it last Wednesday morning.
No one was wearing masks when she got to her resort.
She bumped into about 20 tourists from Ohio during her trip.
The pool and the beach weren't full of the customary crowds associated with vacation resorts.
Her hotel only was at 35 percent capacity.
The locals told her they were so far away from the areas affected by the H1N1 flu virus in Mexico City (across the sea), that it was laughable.
Siracuse says if anyone is afraid of coming in contact with someone who traveled to Mexico recently, that person has the choice to stay away.
She says the weather was great, her trip was fun and she feels feels great and loves her tan.
