COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A police officer was struck by a vehicle while chasing a robbery suspect Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred at Main Street and Nelson Road at about 5 p.m., NBC 4 reported.
The officer was chasing a suspect out of a robbery at a Kentucky Fried Chicken location when a passenger vehicle not involved in the chase struck him.
The officer was taken to Grant Medical Center in stable condition.
The suspect was caught.
