CENTRAL OHIO -- The Center for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed a third Columbus case of H1N1 late Wednesday evening.

The case is the male Ohio State University student who has been a probable case since last Friday, according to the Franklin County Department of Health.
The student has been isolated and is undergoing treatment, the department said Wednesday.
Six suspected cases of H1N1 influenza tested negative for the virus Wednesday.
Four Franklin County suspected cases were deemed negative for H1N1 influenza by the Ohio Department of Health laboratory Wednesday.
Two Licking County suspected cases were deemed negative for H1N1 influenza by the Ohio Department of Health laboratory Wednesday.
Central Ohio’s confirmed cases was raised to three Wednesday.
Ohio has a total of six confirmed cases: a 9-year-old male in Lorain County, a 31-year-old male in Franklin County, a 33-year-old male in Franklin County, a 39-year-old female from Holmes County, a 39-year-old female from Portage County and a 19-year-old male.
Butler County has one probable case in a 30-year-old male.
Licking County identified one new suspect case Wednesday, and specimens have been sent to the ODH lab for testing.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed 653 U.S. cases and two U.S. deaths, both in Texas. Texas health officials said a woman with chronic health problems who lived near the Mexico border died this week. Last week a toddler from Mexico died at a Houston hospital.
