COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A teenage suspect was arrested after a double shooting on the city’s East Side Tuesday night.

A large group of people were involved in a physical altercation in front of 831 Oakwood Ave. at about 7:56 p.m. Tuesday, according to police reports.
As the group was fighting, a male walked by and shot at the group, CPD said.
A 15-year-old female was struck in the shoulder. She was transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in stable condition.
David Banks, 46, also was struck in the leg. Banks was transported to Grant Medical Center in stable condition.
Based on information acquired by detectives during an investigation, the shooting suspect was identified as 18-year-old Dequise Jackson.
CPD arrested Jackson without incident and charged him with felonious assault.
