CINCINNATI -- A suburban Cincinnati couple has filed a lawsuit in their high-school daughter's suicide, which they say was caused by taunting she faced after her nude photo was sent to cell phones without her permission.
Albert and Cynthia Logan of Blue Ash filed the suit Friday against the girl's school, the Cincinnati suburb of Montgomery and some students. It seeks unspecified money damages on behalf of the estate of 18-year-old Jessica Logan, who died in July.
The lawsuit claims the school did nothing to stop the harassment and Montgomery police failed to criminally charge those "sexting" the photos.
A Sycamore Community Schools spokeswoman says the district couldn't comment immediately. A message seeking comment was left at the Montgomery law director's office.
