CROOKSVILLE, Ohio -- A body was found inside a burning car in Perry County early Friday.
The Perry County sheriff's department responded to a call about a car fire in an alley south of Whitehouse Street in Crooksville at about 4 a.m., NBC 4 reported.
Fire and police responders said they discovered the car full engulfed in flames.
Once the fire was extinguished, a body was found inside the vehicle.
The victim's identity was not released pending positive identification.
An autopsy was scheduled by the county coroner.
The incident remains under investigation.
