Powell Man Dies In Early Morning Motorcycle Crash

POWELL, Ohio – The Delaware Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol is currently investigating a one-vehicle fatal motorcycle crash. The crash happened just after 1:00 a.m. Saturday morning. In a release put out by OSP, 29-year old David Orlando of Powell was driving on Sawmill Parkway when he drove off the right side of the road. Orlando was ejected from the 2003 Yahama motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Several witnesses from the scene told OSP, Orlando was traveling at a very high-rate of speed. Orlando was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
