COLUMBUS, Ohio – Saturday evening just after 9 p.m., Columbus Police were called to Cherry Drive on a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers found 24-year old Robert Spears suffering from a gunshot wound. Spears was transported to Grant Hospital in critical, but stable condition. Police say there is no motive for the shooting at this time, but have issued a felonious assault warrant for 18-year old Davin Lamar Thorton.
