COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Red Cross brought food and blankets to a family whose apartment bore the brunt of damage from a fire Sunday evening.
It happened at Governor's Square apartments on Greentree Court on the near Northwest Side.
Four other occupants were moved to different units in the same complex because electricity to their apartments was interrupted and not expected to be restored right away.
Investigators say the fire appears accidental and was caused by a cigarette.
The damage is estimated to be near $40,000.
No one was injured in the incident.
