2 Suspicious Fires Could Be Connected

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus fire officials continued to investigate a late-night fire on the city's East Side that may be connected to another recent fire.

The fire began around 11 p.m. Thursday in a vacant home located on the 1900 block of Woodcrest Road.

Investigators remained unsure how the fire started but told NBC 4 it did look suspicious.

Another suspicious fire occurred Tuesday only eight houses away.

Fire officials continued to investigate the possibility of the two being connected.
