PLAIN CITY, Ohio –The Marysville Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol is currently investigating a 2-vehicle crash that occurred early Monday morning on U.S. 42 in Plain City. Reports say 17-year old Tyler Ary of London was southbound on U.S. 42 in an Accura Integra and failed to stop at the traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. 42 and S.R. 161. As Ary continued through the intersection, he struck a Plain City Police cruiser from behind. Sgt. Marcus Ballinger and his passenger Officer Dale McKee were in the cruiser and were transported to Dublin Methodist Hospital for minor injuries. Ary was transported to Grant Medical Center in an unknown condition.
The crash remains under investigation at this time and troopers are asking anyone with information to contact the Marysville Patrol Post at (937) 644-8811.
