HEATH, Ohio -- Voters in the Licking County city of Heath stood up and said no to red light and speed cameras.

The issue has been heated and much talked about since the cameras went up and brought in hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.

The owner of Dr. Signs has been in front, trying to get people to vote down the issue.

The message got through by less than 100 votes.

Duane Goodwin, of Dr. Signs, said, "you can fight city hall."

The last pictures from the cameras snapped at midnight.

There is no word on when the signs or photo machines will come down in Heath.

Heath Mayor Richard Waugh who installed the cameras, also lost in his race Tuesday for the mayoral seat. He will be replaced by Mark Johns.
