PATASKALA, Ohio -- Authorities remain on the scene of a double-murder-suicide with three victims, including a 9-year-old boy.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
The victims include a 45-year-old, a 46-year-old and a 9-year-old child. Police have not identified the victims.
Pataskala police did a well-check run and found three bodies at 8:30 a.m. at a home on the 1300 block of Havens Corner Road.
Police said a man left letters and e-mails for family, friends and co-workers. The correspondence indicated something violent may happen in the home. Calls from recipients lead to the well-being check. Police were not disclosing the content of the letters.
The crime apparently happened between 3 and 7 a.m. Thursday, according to authorities.
Police said the deceased owned a business in the area.
There wasn't a history of domestic calls to the home, but there was a barn fire at the residence about six months ago.
The boy attended Licking Heights Local School District. NBC 4 first reported he attended Licking Valley Elementary School.
Apparently, the family includes older children who don't live at the Havens Corner home.
Neighbors said the family appeared to be a loving family.
No more immediate information was available.
