COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A two-hour standoff on the city's North Side ended in an arrest early Tuesday morning.

The incident began at about 2 a.m. at a home on Rockcastle Drive near Morse and Karl roads.
Westerville police went to the home to serve an arrest warrant on Shawn Ratliffe.
He was wanted for traffic violations and a parole violation on an original charge of aggravated burglary.
Ratliffe refused to come out of the home, police said.
Officers believed the suspect was armed because they caught a glimpse of him through a window and it looked like he had a handgun.
Two small children and a woman (who is Ratliffe's girlfriend) also were inside the home.
Westerville police called for assistance from the Columbus police SWAT team.
SWAT officers kicked in the front door at about 4 a.m. and threw in a phone so they could attempt to talk to the suspect.
Ratliffe surrendered to police a short time later.
The girlfriend and the children were not injured. It was not immediately clear whose children they were.
Westerville police took Ratliffe into custody.
No more immediate information was available.
