COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A controversial video game was released Tuesday, but a terrorism scene within the game is being called into question.
Graphic violence in video games is nothing new to the average gamer these days, but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is stirring controversy about a particular scene that allows the player to take on the roll of terrorist.
The player is part of a bloody attack on civilians in a Russian airport, where the player walks with four other terrorists and opens fire on innocent people.
It's an unprecedented act for the game world, and for some it goes extremely too far.
In GameStop Tuesday night, a line of people were seen waiting to purchase what some say will be the premiere shooting game of the year.
Kevin David, an student at The Ohio State University, joins millions from around the world who will play the game for hours Tuesday night.
"From everything I've heard, the graphics are better, and it's a better game-play experience, I guess," David said.
As far as the graphic terrorism scene, David said he has mixed thoughts.
"I like that they gave the option where you can skip it so you know people that are sensitive to that topic, if they were personally effected by something like that," David said.
