CHILLICOTHE, Ohio -- A collection was being held Wednesday for a family who lost two family members and their home in a fire early last week.

A 2-month-old and 37-year-old James Beverly died in the West 4th Street house fire Monday, Nov. 2.
The Beverly family asked for the community's help and donations.
The collection was scheduled to start at noon Wednesday at the Life Ambulance Facility, 1331 River Rd., Chillicothe. That's off U.S. Route 23.
Donations of gently used clothing, toys, games, bath and kitchen towels, blankets, sheets, small kitchen appliances, paper items, nonperishable foods and furniture would be appreciated.
The family also was hoping for donations of clothing including 2X shirts, XL shirts, 6X shirts, XL tall/long sweats, XL tall lounge pants and 40-inch and 54-inch waist pants for men; medium shirts and pants in sizes 11, 12, 15 and 16 for women and 3T, 4T, and 12 boys clothes and large boys shirts.
Gift cards and gas cards also were welcomed. Cash won't be accepted at the drive.
