COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Four separate crashes on Interstate 270 southbound on the city's East Side caused traffic tie-ups Thursday morning.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Four crashes near the Easton Way exit on I-270 southbound all but stopped traffic.

Apparently, the freeway was closed for a short time at about 8:30 a.m.

It was open at 8:45 a.m. but moving slowly.

Traffic was back to normal by 9:15 a.m.
