DUBLIN, Ohio -- Dublin police are asking for help locating a man and woman believed to have stolen two credit cards at a Dublin Panera Bread last month.
The theft occurred at the location at 6665 Perimeter Loop Road on Oct. 27.
The victim reported that the thieves attempted to use the credit cards in the area, totaling thousands of dollars in fraudulent charges.
The male suspect is described as a black male, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 1 inch tall, who is bald. He was wearing glasses.
The female suspect is described as a black female with shoulder-length hair and is between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall. She was reportedly wearing a blue winter coat with white trim.
The two suspects were seen in a newer, dark-colored, full-size Ford or Chevrolet van with a license plate on the passenger-side rear door.
Police said they believe the theft follows a pattern involving up to four incidents where credit cards were stolen without the victims' knowledge.
Police said they believe unsigned credit cards are being targeted and false driver’s licenses are being made – in this case from Michigan – in an attempt to make use of the cards appear legitimate.
Anyone with any information about them should contact Dublin police at 614-889-1112.
