COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police are searching for the man who robbed a National City Bank on the city's south side Thursday.
According to Columbus police, a man entered the bank on Lockbourne Road at about 4:10 p.m.
Police said the suspect waited in line, approached a teller and told her he was robbing the bank, had a gun and wanted money.
Although no weapon was observed, the teller complied and gave the robber money from her drawer. He took the money and fled the scene.
He was described as a black male in his 30s, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a slender build, wearing a dark blue puffy coat and blue jeans.
