COLUMBUS, Ohio – Today the City of Columbus along with the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO) will provide six new free yard waste drop-off sites from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Today will be the third of six consecutive Saturdays through December 5 the locations will be offered. The six additional sites are: 1881 East 25th Avenue, 500 Scherer’s Court, 455 south Westgate Avenue, 3568 Indianola Avenue, 1250 Fairwood Avenue and 4211 Groves Road.
A few reminders before you drop off: put leaves and other yard waste in biodegradable paper yard waste bags, bundle tree branches and twigs in four-foot long sections, and remember to separate regular trash and yard waste. Regular trash will not be accepted at the locations.
