COLUMBUS, Ohio – This week’s featured Crime Stoppers crime was caught on home surveillance video and police need your help identifying the bold suspects.
During the afternoon of January 8, 2009 just before 1 p.m., burglars broke into a Matthias Drive residence. Two suspects forced their way into the house by smashing out the back door window and unlocking the door. A home surveillance video caught suspects making their way through the house, emptying clothes hampers and carrying away the victim’s property.
The first suspect on the video is a black male, 5’10”, early 20’s, wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt over a dark shirt, pants, and a light-colored cap. The second suspect is a white male, early 20’s, 6’2”, wearing a dark jacket with a fur-trimmed hood and a light-colored t-shirt underneath.
Crime Stoppers has offered a reward of up to $2,000 for any information received by November 25, 2009, leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime.
