COLUMBUS, Ohio – A SWAT standoff in east Columbus has ended after six people are removed from a home.

The incident began around 2 a.m. when Columbus police received a tip that a possible homicide suspect was in a home on the 800 block of Seymour Avenue.
When police went to the home and knocked on the door, a female answered and slammed the door shut. The individuals inside refused to come out for police. A few hours later, the Columbus police SWAT team had the home surrounded.
Around 5 a.m., the homicide suspect, along with two females and three other males, were brought out of the house peacefully and taken into police custody.
No injuries were reported from the incident.
