COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A woman accused in a fatal shooting on Tamarack Boulevard was in court Tuesday.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
Ashley Nicole Baldwin was given an $85,000 bond in Franklin County Municipal Court. That's $50,000 cash surety and $35,000 for appearance.
Baldwin was arrested Wednesday, Nov. 11, at her parents' Rumsey Road home.
Officers were dispatched to the parking lot of the Northland Arm apartments on the 4600 block of Tamarack Boulevard around 2 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The body of an adult male was discovered in a black SUV in the lot. James A. Davis, 47, was found fatally shot with a gunshot wound to the head.
An NBC 4 crew was reporting live from the scene of a SWAT standoff on Rockcastle Drive near Morse and Karl roads Tuesday morning.
A woman walked up to the crew and asked for a cell phone shortly before 6 a.m. She told NBC 4 her husband, Davis, had been shot in the head. She called 911.
The woman led police to a nearby parking lot, but it wasn’t the one where Davis’ body was found.
Columbus police searched for Baldwin throughout Wednesday and released a photo to the media in hopes she would be found and could be questioned.
Police said detectives believe Baldwin was responsible for Davis’ fatal shooting and charged her with his homicide.
NBC 4 originally reported Baldwin was Davis’ wife. She said so in the 911 call to report his shooting, but authorities said Baldwin and Davis were not married.
