BAGHDAD, Iraq – The most talked about rivalry in college history not only affects the fans here in Ohio and in Michigan, but our heroes overseas as well.
Since 1935, the Ohio State vs. Michigan match-up has decided the Big Ten Conference championship 23 times. This year the rivalry spills over in Baghdad for the Soldiers of the 16th Engineer Brigade. Members of the Brigade consist of both the Ohio Army National Guard’s 1192nd Engineer Company and the Michigan Army National Guard’s 1434th Engineer Company.
Day-after-day the two companies work closely together on many different projects, but Saturday, November 21 will determine who will have bragging rights for the rest of their deployment.
