COLUMBUS, Ohio – Red Kettles will be out starting today, marking the unofficial start of the holiday season.

The Red Kettles are one of the most recognized symbols of the Salvation Army, especially during the holiday season. Each year the Red Kettle effort raises hundreds of thousands of dollars to support social service programs and ministries.

The campaign will run from November 20th through December 24th.
