COLUMBUS, Ohio A 59-year-old man was injured Saturday night when three people demanded entry to his home.
The shooting occurred at a home on Kenmore Road at about 8 p.m.
According to police, three men approached the home and pounded on the front door. Investigators said the resident, Ahmed O. Gardaad, began to open the door and one of the men fired two gunshots into the home before Gardaad closed the door.
Gardaad was shot in the arm and treated at the scene by medical crews.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
