COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Whether you knew Stefanie Spielman or only knew of her, she was a wife, a mom, a breast-cancer advocate, a Buckeye and a inspiration to many breast-cancer survivors.
Spielman passed away at her Upper Arlington home last Thursday evening.
Spielman's life was celebrated Tuesday during a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
NBC 4 livestreamed video from the memorial so the community could mourn her passing and commemorate her life and her 11-year battle with breast cancer.
The memorial service was held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1581 Cambridge Blvd., Columbus.
Reverend Philip Brooks officiated.
