KETTERING, Ohio -- Police have received reports of a deer that was shot with an arrow wandering the streets of this southwest Ohio suburb.
Kettering Police Dispatcher J. Kelley says the deer was spotted on Tuesday morning roaming around suburban Dayton near the Kettering Medical Center.
Kelley says it's illegal to shoot a deer in the city. He says deer are out in the roadways more than usual this time of year because it's mating season.
Several Ohio counties have reported accidents caused by deer crashing into cars in recent weeks.
