COLUMBUS, Ohio -- SWAT was called out to a Northeast Side apartment complex Tuesday morning after a fight escalated into a stabbing

Columbus police were called to the 2900 block of Cassady Court at about 6:07 a.m. on reports of a stabbing.
Apparently, people were drinking and an altercation began in the apartment. One person was stabbed.
Officers located Abdiqani Mohamud, 27, in front of the apartment building with an open wound on his left bicep. Mohamud pointed out the apartment where the incident occurred.
The people inside the apartment refused to open the door for the police upon arrival, authorities said. Officers could see people moving inside the apartment, but they would not answer the door, police said.
CPD called SWAT to the scene at about 8 a.m.
SWAT and police arrested one suspect.
Sharmarke Yusuf, 29, was arrested and charged with felonious assault.
Authorities closed Cassady Road between Cassady Place and Sunbury Road during the situation.
