CLEVELAND
A blue-collar Cleveland neighborhood has had a glitzy feel for the comeback of a vaudeville-era theater renovated for $7.5 million.
Thursday's gala reopening of the Capitol Theatre in the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood alongside Lake Erie included a $250-per-person fundraising reception Thursday night.
There also was a screening of the LeBron James documentary "More Than a Game."
The Capitol opened in 1921 as a vaudeville and silent movie house. It closed in 1985.
The theater has reopened to show movies on three all-digital screens.
