COLUMBUS, OHIO -- Columbus police are on the look-out for a suspect vehicle out of an alleged hit-skip crash involving a light-model truck and a motorcycle.
Around 9:10 p.m., Columbus police and Columbus Division of Fire personnel were called to West Broad Street and Hague Avenue on a report of a crash.
Witnesses said a blue SUV was speeding through the above intersection and crashed into a motorcycle. Witnesses also said the SUV fled the scene.
The driver of the motorcycle, an approximately 50-year-old male, was taken to Mount Carmel West Hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
The intersection of West Broad Street and Hague Avenue was closed to traffic during the investigation.
Police are searching for a “light-model blue truck” that would have damage on the front end.
