COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Columbus police have little information on a double homicide and asked for the public’s help.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
CPD responded to an “unknown trouble call” at 1128 Geers Ave. at about 10:35 p.m. Saturday.
That’s on the city’s near Southeast Side.
The officers arrived at the address and found one male and one female victim dead inside the home.
Medics pronounced the two dead at the scene.
The male was determined to be about 50 years old. The female was determined to be about 45 years old.
The male victim was identified as 53-year-old John Haile late Sunday.
The female was identified, but authorities were not releasing her name currently.
A police report said both victims suffered multiple injuries.
The cause of death was to be determined by an autopsy Monday.
CPD did not have any suspects or motives for the double homicide currently.
