JOHNSTOWN, Ohio -- A house caught fire late Tuesday morning, and several fire departments were called to the scene.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
Original reports called fire crews to the Johnstown United Methodist Church at 173 S. Main St. before 11 a.m.
Once the fire investigator arrived on the scene, the address of the fire was corrected to 181 S. Main St.
Crews from Johnstown, Granville and Mifflin and Plain township fire departments all were called to the scene.
The fire was at a single-family home and started on the first floor, according to on-scene officials.
Fire crews contained the fire to the first floor, but there was heavy damage to the second floor.
One person was transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation.
The Monroe Township fire chief could not confirm how many people were inside the home at the time of the fire.
