Ganahl: Clearing & Cooler Tonight

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Skies clear tonight, cool as always with the longer nights – pretty Harvest Moon later – lows around 40.

Clouds return tomorrow with a soaking rain tomorrow night into Friday forenoon – many reports of an inch seem likely with this.

Rain will be over for Football Friday Night, but fields will be muddy again this week. Temperatures about 65.

Buckeyes get a brisk and fast-moving cloud sort of day, highs in upper 50s falling to low 50s during the day. Sprinkle is worst case scenario on rain.

It might be cold enough for the first snowflakes next Monday night into Tuesday morning. It will melt on contact, though.

Earliest measurable snowfall is Oct 10, 1906.

Earliest 1-inch snowfall is Oct 22, 1925.
