COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Local authorities issued a campus-crime alert Wednesday after a male allegedly was abducted at gunpoint late Tuesday.

A male reported being abducted at gunpoint from the area of East 15th Avenue and North High Street at about 11:30 p.m.
The victim was forced into a black vehicle and shown a black automatic firearm and a black revolver, police said.
The victim was taken to the city’s East Side and forced to withdraw money with his ATM card, police said.
The victim was released later near South James Road and East Main Street.
