WORTHINGTON, Ohio -- Worthington Estates Elementary School officials are dealing with high levels of absences from seasonal flu, H1N1 and whooping cough.
A representative with the school said Friday that one-fifth of students were absent on Thursday and Friday's rate was expected to be even higher.
He said staff members are doing twice the amount of disinfecting they normally do and kids who have a cough and fever are sent home.
The elementary school is the only building in the district that has been impacted.
