COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Local police released surveillance video and asked for the public’s help to identify a carjacking suspect and locate a stolen vehicle.

CPD said the carjacking happened at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Easton Town Center on the city’s Northeast Side.
A 35-year-old woman was getting into her parked vehicle on the lot near the Barnes & Noble at 4005 Townsfair Way.
A suspect, who was armed with a hunting knife, approached the woman, police said.
He allegedly threatened the victim and demanded money, but she honked her horn and yelled for help.
The suspect pulled the woman from her vehicle, police said, and left the scene with her vehicle and belongings.
The stolen vehicle is a silver 2003 Toyota Avalon with an Ohio license plate of DPK8180.
