DELTA, Ohio -- Authorities say two people have been killed after their vehicle collided with a train on a long stretch of driveway that intersects with railroad tracks.
Fulton County Sheriff's deputies say the vehicle failed to stop for a westbound train on the Norfolk-Southern railraod early Saturday.
Marlena Allwood, who lives in the house at the end of the driveway, says her husband was friends with the victim. She says her family is used to the unusual way their gravel driveway intersects the railroad tracks: "You've got to stop and look and look again."
The crash occurred about a half-mile west of the Worthington Steel plant in northwest Ohio.
