COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A man suffered second- and third-degree burns on his hands and face when the truck he was working on caught on fire.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
Columbus fire was called to a garage at 1031 N. 4th St. on the city’s near North Side before 1 a.m.
The location is the company garage of All Ohio Masonry Restoration, Inc.
The man apparently was working on a fuel pump under a company work truck.
He was using a work light and the work light ignited something while the man still was under the truck.
Two people who were painting next door heard him yelling and helped him get out from under the truck.
The front of the truck was flaming when fire crews arrived.
The man was transported to OSU Medical Center in critical condition with second- and third-degree burns on his hands and face.
