COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Authorities arrested two suspects who police said are connected to an aggravated robbery on campus.
NBC 4’s Mike Jackson covered the crime in last Saturday’s Central Ohio Crime Stoppers report.
Campus officers arrested 21-year-old Daquan M. Ellis and 21-year-old Tekie Seyoum Tesfamichael Wednesday in connection with the aggravated robbery of the UniPrint Store on Milkin Way.
Ellis of Columbus was charged with aggravated robbery, and Tesfamichael of Reynoldsburg was charged with complicity to aggravated robbery.
The arrests weren’t made out of a Crime Stoppers tip but regular police work.
The robbery happened in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Sept. 30.
Security cameras in the area caught a vehicle and a glimpse of two armed men who allegedly assaulted store employees.
The suspects made off with cash and left employees with injuries that required stitches.
Local authorities continued to investigate and said additional individuals were involved.
Authorities said they still are interested in a white 1993-1995 Cadillac Seville SLS with back door guards and a sunroof. The Cadillac was profiled in the Crime Stoppers report.
