MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - Ohio officials have reduced the speed limit through an Interstate 75 construction zone where accidents killed three people over four days.
South of Dayton, signs were put up Thursday afternoon advising I-75 southbound motorists of the speed limit change from 65 mph to 55 mph.
The latest deadly crash on that part of highway was Wednesday night. The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a 58-year-old Cincinnati man was killed when he slammed his motorcycle into the back of a dump truck that had slowed down to enter the median work area.
An accident on Saturday killed a couple from Cross Plains, Tenn.; troopers say their car also rear-ended a dump truck.
The highway patrol says it's increasing its presence in the area to make sure drivers slow down.
