OSTRANDER, Ohio -- A 40-year-old Ostrander man is in custody after, officials said, he shot and killed his wife.
The shooting occurred at 8960 Mills Road at about 8 a.m. Saturday.
Upon arrival, deputies found 43-year-old Mary Fry dead at the scene. Her husband, Daniel L. Fry, was taken into custody.
A quote from Sheriff Walter L. Davis, III was issued, “Daniel Fry and his wife got into a verbal disagreement this morning. It ended with Mr. Fry picking up his handgun and shooting Mrs. Fry.”
The case remains under investigation, according to the sheriff.
