CHAUNCEY, Ohio – The Athens County Sheriff’s Office arrested a juvenile in the Village of Chauncey for trafficking in drugs on Friday evening.
The juvenile was allegedly selling prescription pills and was apprehended as part of Operation Busted Balloon. As the juvenile was selling the drugs, the Sheriff’s Office was keeping the transaction under surveillance and then made an arrest.
The juvenile was taken to the Fairfield Juvenile Detention facility. The case is still under investigation at this time. No further information is available.
