CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Vice-President Joe Biden is visiting Ohio to raise money for congressional Democrats and make the case that the administration's stimulus program is having an impact.
Biden stops in Columbus Monday for a fundraiser for Rep. Mary Jo Kilroy of central Ohio, then travels on to Cleveland for a luncheon to benefit the campaigns of two more Democrats, Reps. John Boccieri of northeast Ohio and Zack Space of southeast Ohio.
Monday afternoon, the vice president is scheduled to appear at Cleveland Hopkins airport, where he's expected to say that the economic stimulus package is creating jobs and improving transportation. A news release says Biden will be joined by Democratic U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio and Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, also a Democrat.
