COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A teacher is in critical condition after being struck by a car Monday morning.
The incident occurred in front of Berwick Alternative Elementary School on Scottwood Road at about 8:30 a.m.
The victim, who was a teacher at Berwick, was transported to Grant Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Police said a parent who was dropping off a student didn't see the teacher because of glare from the sun.
